Saudi Arabia has right to self-defence against Houthi attacks: Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that Saudi Arabia has the right to self-defence against attacks by Houthi rebels. He made the remarks while speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, United States.
According to Rubio, Saudi Arabia is clearly a target of Houthi attacks and has the right to protect itself.
Rubio said that both Saudi Arabia and Yemen's internationally recognised government do not want Houthi control to persist in the region. He reminded that there is a binding security agreement between the US and Saudi Arabia, and made clear that Washington is committed to fulfilling its obligations under that agreement.
Meanwhile, Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Saudi riyal at Rs 40.97 and the selling rate at Rs 41.13 for October 5.
