Weather mainly clear nationwide on Vijaya Dashami, light rain and snow possible in hill and mountain areas

The weather will be mainly clear across the country on Wednesday, the day of Bada Dashain tika, the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said.

According to the division, the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds, and partial cloud cover is present over the country's mountain and hill regions.

The division said light rain and snowfall are possible in some mountain and hill areas amid this partial cloudiness, particularly in one or two hill and mountain areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

The weather is otherwise expected to be favorable across most parts of the country for those going out to apply tika and travel during Dashain.
