Nepali cinema: Dayahang's two films hit big, dubbing begins for 'Chiranjeevi Bhawah'

Actor Dayahang Rai's latest two films, 'Pension Patta' and 'Kabaddi 5: After the Final Match', have both found commercial success, breaking a long run of underperforming films at the box office for him.
Earlier releases such as 'Mahabhoj', 'Rimai', 'Barishtha Balaram', 'Maijharo', 'Jaari 2', 'Mirmire' and 'Mitjyu' had not earned as much as expected.
Directed by Maotse Gurung, 'Pension Patta' released on Bhadra 26 and has so far earned about 102.3 million rupees at the domestic box office.
Separately, dubbing began on Thursday for 'Chiranjeevi Bhawah', the new film from Deepak Prasad Acharya 'Kaku', who directed 'Paran'. Actor Harivansh Acharya began the dubbing process by recording his dialogue. Director Acharya said no compromise is being made on quality in the film's production, and that post-production is being handled with equal care. The film is presented by Jigri Entertainment and Premier Production.
