Janamat Party's second convention begins in Birgunj, with CK Raut the sole candidate for chairperson

The second national convention of the Janamat Party began on Saturday in Birgunj, Parsa. The convention is preparing to elect the party's new central working committee.

For the post of chairperson, only incumbent chair Dr. Chandrakant (CK) Raut has filed a candidacy. Since no one else has filed for the post, Raut's candidacy stands as the sole one for the chair position.

Competition will take place for posts other than the chair. After the convention elects a new central working committee, the party will set its future course under the new leadership.

Delegates from various parts of the country are taking part in the ongoing convention in Birgunj.
