Bailey bridge installation begins in Betrawati, reconnecting road network to Rasuwa

After a temporary track was opened on the flood-damaged Galchhi–Betrawati road section in Rasuwa, installation of a Bailey bridge has begun in Betrawati. With this work, the road network to Rasuwa is being reconnected.

According to Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, after the temporary track became operational, the transport of materials for the Bailey bridge construction to the site has been accelerated.

The road network to Rasuwa was affected after floods damaged the Galchhi–Betrawati road section. A temporary track was first opened on the section, after which the Bailey bridge installation work began in Betrawati.

Minister Lamsal said that the transport of materials for the Bailey bridge construction has been accelerated.
