Army holds Fulpati bada'i at Tundikhel under president's patronage, Fulpati brought into Hanumandhoka

On the seventh day of Bada Dashain, marking Fulpati, the Nepali Army organised a Fulpati bada'i ceremony at the military parade ground, Tundikhel, in Kathmandu on Saturday. The 'Fulpati Bada'i Samaroh-2083' was held under the chief patronage of President Ramchandra Paudel.

At the ceremony, the Nepali Army presented a salute to President Paudel, who is the supreme commander of the Nepali Army. During the event held on Saturday afternoon, the army presented volley and single-round salutes using rifles and cannons. The army has held the Fulpati bada'i at Tundikhel every year on the day of Fulpati.

Meanwhile, the Fulpati brought from Gorkha Durbar was carried into the Dasainghar at Hanumandhoka Durbar in Kathmandu on Saturday. Gorkha Durbar had sent the Fulpati in the morning in a palanquin accompanied by traditional bands.

Continuing the religious and cultural tradition of Dashain, the Fulpati was brought in amid music and festivity. The festive atmosphere of Dashain typically intensifies once the Fulpati is brought to Hanumandhoka.
