US Supreme Court temporarily allows Trump policy of deporting migrants to third countries

The US Supreme Court has allowed President Donald Trump's administration to resume its program of deporting migrants to third countries other than their own.

A lower court had blocked this third-country deportation policy. The Supreme Court has allowed that policy to be temporarily reinstated.

Following the Supreme Court's order, the path is now open, for now, for migrants in the United States to be sent to third countries. The Trump administration will now be able to deport migrants not only to their own countries but to other countries as well.

The permission granted by the Supreme Court is temporary.
