Radical changes needed in education system to face AI challenge: Congress president Thapa

Nepali Congress president Gagan Kumar Thapa has said radical changes are needed in Nepal's education system to meet the challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) and the changing global environment.
President Thapa said Nepal must bring about radical changes in both education and human resources to cope with the race in artificial intelligence. He said such changes should be made keeping in mind the shifting global environment.
Thapa shared this view on education and technology after being elected president in the election held under the party's 15th General Convention.
He said changes are needed in the education system and human resource development to confront the challenges brought by AI.
