27-year-old inmate found dead in bathroom of Pyuthan prison

An inmate serving a sentence at Pyuthan District Prison has been found dead.

According to the District Police Office, Pyuthan, Om Bahadur Ghartee, 27, a resident of Gaumukhi Rural Municipality-3, was found hanging in the prison's bathroom at around 2 pm on Sunday.

He was serving a prison sentence at the time. Police have not released further details about the incident.
