Faparkhet landslide blocks Beni-Darbang road, traffic diverted via alternative route

The Faparkhet section of the Beni-Darbang road in Myagdi has been blocked by a dry landslide, and traffic is now being operated via an alternative route.
This road connects three local levels in the district's western region with the district headquarters, Beni market. After the road was blocked by the landslide, road connectivity between these local levels and the headquarters was affected.
Mangala Rural Municipality has been running vehicles via the Pakher-Baranja-Jyamire-Satbise-Babiyachaur road. Movement between the western region and Beni market is currently taking place through this alternative route.
Vehicles began using the alternative route after the road was blocked during the Dashain period. Sources did not mention further details on when the main road at the Faparkhet section would be reopened.
