Nepal Telecom becomes official partner of NPL-3

Nepal Telecom has signed an agreement to become the official partner sponsoring the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The agreement was signed by Telecom's Managing Director Sangeeta Pahadi and Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) General Manager Utsav Dhungana.

At the event, Telecom's Chief Technical Officer Dilliram Adhikari said the main objective of the sponsorship was to help with brand promotion and the institutional development of Nepali cricket.

According to Adhikari, Telecom has previously sponsored CAN and various cricket tournaments it organizes. He said participation that was earlier limited to the club level has this time been expanded into a national-level commercial partnership.

He said having the opportunity to be specially involved in the NPL as a telecommunications service provider was an important opportunity for the company. The NPL is scheduled to run from Kartik 9 to Mangsir 5 at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur.
