Nepal Telecom SIM cards now delivered home via post, 'Postal-SIM service' launched

Nepal Telecom customers can now receive the company's SIM cards at home through the postal service. The 'Postal-SIM service' was launched on Wednesday in partnership between Nepal Telecom and the Department of Postal Services.
With the aim of making government services digital and citizen-friendly, the government has arranged to provide SIM cards at the location of the citizen's choice. For this, customers must apply by filling out an online form.
After applying, postal staff will deliver the SIM card to the customer's home. A tracking system to check where the SIM card has reached has also been arranged.
With this service now in operation, citizens no longer need to visit telecom offices to get a Telecom SIM card.
