Red Cross sets up 28 tents for flood victims in Shantibazar

The Red Cross has set up 28 temporary tents for residents of Arughat Shantibazar in Gorkha who were affected by the Budhigandaki flood.

The affected people received this temporary shelter three days after the flood struck. Along with the tents, relief materials including food, mattresses and gas stoves have also been distributed to flood-affected families.

The flood damaged around 40 homes in Shantibazar. It had struck the Budhigandaki river after coming down the Ungilung stream in Chumnubri Rural Municipality on Sunday morning.
