NPL to use DRS for first time, from season three's opening match

The Decision Review System (DRS) technology will be used for the first time in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on Tuesday via social media that DRS will be used in the third edition of the NPL.

DRS will be used from the very first match of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League's third edition. An agreement has been signed with an Indian company for this purpose.

DRS is a well-known technology that has been used in cricket in recent times. With its implementation, the facility to review umpires' decisions will now be available in the NPL.

This will be the first time in the history of Nepali cricket that this technology is being used in the NPL.
