Home Minister Gurung leaves for India to attend BIMSTEC home ministers' meeting

Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has left for a visit to India. He departed for India from Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday afternoon.

Home Minister Gurung has gone to India to attend the home ministers' level meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

BIMSTEC comprises countries in the Bay of Bengal region, and Nepal is also a member state. Home Minister Gurung will represent Nepal at the meeting, which will be attended by home ministers of member countries.
