CPN Unified leader and former MP Dr Bijay Paudel dies

Former MP and CPN Unified leader Dr Bijay Paudel has died. He passed away at Kirtipur Hospital on Monday.

He felt unwell at his residence in Naikap on Monday afternoon and died while being taken to hospital for treatment. He is suspected to have suffered a heart attack.

According to Dr Kiran Nakarmi, executive director of Kirtipur Hospital, Paudel died while being brought to the hospital.

Paudel was a former MP and had recently been active as a leader of CPN Unified. News of his death was made public by various media outlets on Monday.
