President Paudel to receive tika from guru purohit on Vijaya Dashami

President Ramchandra Paudel will receive tika and jamara from the guru purohit at an auspicious time on the day of Vijaya Dashami.

According to Ratopati and Thahakhabar, President Paudel will receive the tika and jamara at the President's Office in Sheetal Niwas, Kathmandu. Vijaya Dashami, the main day of Bada Dashain, falls on Wednesday this year.

Throughout Navaratri, Nawadurga is worshipped for nine days at Dashainghar and the Shakti Peeths. On Vijaya Dashami, it is customary to receive tika and jamara, as the goddess's blessing, from the hands of elders.

On the occasion of Bada Dashain, it is a tradition for the President to receive tika from the guru purohit every year on Vijaya Dashami.
