Ahead of Dashain, landless people of Chitwan's Ichchhakamana-7 get land ownership certificates

Landless residents of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-7 in Chitwan have received land ownership certificates in their own names just ahead of Dashain.

According to Ratopati, Thahakhabar and Nagarik, they have received certificates in their own names for the land they had been living on for years. They expressed great happiness after receiving the certificates.

According to Nagarik, for many of them, the fulfilment of an assurance they had been given for years felt like a dream come true for one resident who received the certificate.

As they received the certificates just ahead of Dashain, local residents have taken it as a Dashain gift.
