Oil Corporation directs gas companies to issue mandatory VAT bills on LP gas sales

The Nepal Oil Corporation has directed all gas industries to ensure that mandatory VAT bills (invoices) are issued when selling and distributing cooking LP gas.

The directive was issued by the Corporation's LP Gas and Aviation Department. According to the directive, dealers selling gas must issue a VAT bill as a mandatory requirement before selling and distributing gas.

The Corporation has made the gas industries responsible for implementing this arrangement down to the dealers appointed by them. Under this, consumers purchasing gas will receive VAT bills.
