Above the fog at Manungkot, domestic tourists start increasing

Domestic tourist traffic has increased in recent times at Manungkot, a tourist destination in Tanahun. In the mornings, Damauli bazaar below can be seen covered in thick fog from the hilltop, with the sun rising above it.

The sunrise above the fog, the surrounding hill ranges and the cool breeze have become the main attractions here. Gita Parajuli, who came from Pokhara, said staying overnight and watching the morning sunrise and fog was an unforgettable experience.

Radhika Parajuli, also from Pokhara, said the view of fog spreading in every direction looked very beautiful. Instead of visiting briefly and returning, tourists are now coming to spend the night and watch the morning view.

As tourist activity has increased, local businesses have also benefited. Preparations are underway to develop a tourist village here under a land consolidation plan. Along with the natural scenery, religious and cultural legends also make Manungkot an interesting destination.
