Nationwide drive to protect community school land, schools told to submit details within two months

The Department of Education has decided to carry out the management of community school land across the country as a campaign. Schools have been directed to submit details within two months for this purpose.
The department's Educational Information Management section has issued a circular in this regard. According to the circular, land details must mandatorily be updated in the Education Management Information System (EMIS).
The campaign has been launched to identify the actual status of land registered in schools' names, land schools are using, and land under the control of other bodies. Preventing encroachment on school land is also an objective of the campaign.
The campaign will cover community schools across the country.
