Putin warns Russia could use nuclear weapons if Kaliningrad is attacked

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that if Russian territory of Kaliningrad in the Baltic region comes under direct attack, Russia would use all the weapons at its disposal.

His warning indicates that even nuclear weapons could be used if a direct threat emerges against Kaliningrad.

Meanwhile, President Putin has rejected a proposal for a ceasefire with Ukraine that would halt long-range strikes.
