Suspected plague in Russia's Siberia; nearly 200 people under health monitoring

Nearly 200 people have been placed under health monitoring after plague (an infectious disease) was suspected in Russia's Siberia region.
The people were reportedly placed in quarantine after the suspicious death of an employee working at a laboratory in Russia.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has expressed concern over a possible case of pneumonic plague in Russia. He said the United States would help Russia if needed.
Further official details on confirmation of the infection and its source are yet to be made public.
