Madhesh Province MP Abhiram Sharma's suspension lifted in ASI Thaman Bikram murder case

Madhesh Province Assembly member Abhiram Sharma, who had been suspended in connection with the murder of Armed Police Force ASI Thaman Bikram, has had his suspension lifted.

Sharma, who was a Provincial Assembly member from the then Loktantrik Samajwadi Party (LSP), was suspended by the Madhesh Provincial Assembly on Baishakh 18, 2081. He is currently a Madhesh Province MP from JSP Nepal.

In the ASI Thaman Bikram murder case, the Mahottari District Court had sentenced Sharma to life imprisonment. He had been suspended as a Provincial Assembly member in connection with the same case.

With the lifting of his suspension, Sharma has returned as a member of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly.
