Floods and landslides destroy documents, equipment at Myagdi government offices, disrupting services

Service delivery has been disrupted after floods and landslides in the second week of Asoj damaged the buildings and materials of government offices in Myagdi.

The floods destroyed office documents, records and equipment including computers. With documents at some offices swept away by the floods, problems have emerged in service delivery.

With office buildings and essential materials damaged, it has become difficult to provide regular services to the public. The destruction of records has disrupted the functioning of the offices.

The floods and landslides in the second week of Asoj had caused damage in Myagdi and several other districts.
