Brazil votes today in presidential runoff between Lula and Flavio Bolsonaro

Brazil is voting today to choose its next president, in the second round of the presidential election.

The contest is between the incumbent president and leftist leader, 80-year-old Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and the right-wing senator, 45-year-old Flavio Bolsonaro.

One of Lula and Bolsonaro will be elected president of Brazil in this runoff vote. Incumbent President Lula is running for re-election, while Bolsonaro is contesting as the right-wing candidate.

In this election in the South American nation, a leftist and a right-wing candidate are facing off directly against each other.
