Energy Minister Shrestha meets Indian Foreign Secretary Misri, discuss Lower Arun and Phukot Karnali

A courtesy meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy between Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Birajbhakta Shrestha and Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who is on a visit to Nepal.

The meeting discussed Nepal-India energy cooperation and electricity trade, among other issues. According to Bizmandu, the discussion also touched on the Lower Arun and Phukot Karnali projects.

Foreign Secretary Misri had earlier held meetings with Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle as well.

Misri is in Nepal for the Nepal-India foreign secretary-level talks.
