Enam Sapkota audio case: opposition demands meeting of State Affairs Committee

Opposition parties have demanded that a meeting of the House of Representatives' State Affairs and Good Governance Committee be called. Lawmakers from the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have sought the meeting to discuss the audio recording controversy linked to middleman Enam Sapkota.
The opposition says the committee meeting is necessary to seek answers from the home minister and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) regarding recent controversial incidents, including the leak of the audio from police custody itself and the arrest of a journalist.
Opposition lawmakers have demanded that the committee meeting be called to investigate the audio recordings linked to Sapkota and related matters.
The Enam Sapkota case has become a topic of discussion in political circles in recent days.
