Rastra Bank to sell gold coins, silver medallions from Thursday for Tihar

Nepal Rastra Bank will sell gold and silver coins to the public on the occasion of Tihar. The bank will sell gold asarfi (coins) and silver medallions on Thursday and Friday.

Targeting Tihar's Dhanteras, Rastra Bank is set to sell gold coins (asarfi) this year as well. The sale will take place from the bank's Mint Department (Taksar Mahashakha) in Baburmahal.

The bank has said it will sell one piece of 2.5-gram gold asarfi per person.
