The government is mobilizing digital content creators to showcase Nepal's lesser-known tourist destinations to the world.

Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Khadga Raj Paudel 'Ganesh' has led this initiative. Under the Nepal Tourism Board's plan, more than 200 creators will be sent to various destinations across the country.

Creators working in food, costume, travel, photography, videography, art, culture and lifestyle will be included. They will showcase local natural beauty, traditions and ways of life to international audiences through photos, videos and other digital content.

The campaign aims to highlight everything from Himalayan grandeur to lesser-known destinations and indigenous traditions. It has been launched to make more effective use of digital media and social networks than older methods of promotion.

Minister Paudel has maintained that digital platforms and the contribution of creative youth carry great weight in tourism promotion. The campaign is expected to give a new generation of creators the opportunity to spread Nepal's tourism identity around the world. The board has called for applications from interested travel content creators, videographers and photographers.
