Pushpa Thing Lama wins best performance at Asia Pacific Screen Awards

Pushpa Thing Lama, the lead actress of the Nepali film "Elephants in the Fog," has won the award for best performance at the 19th Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
The award was announced at a ceremony held in Gold Coast, Australia, on Friday. The awards honor films and filmmakers from the Asia-Pacific region.
The film, directed by Abinash Bikram Shah, was nominated in three categories: best film, best director for Shah, and best performance for Lama.
The film's team had planned to travel to Australia for the ceremony but had to cancel the trip at the last minute, so none of the team members were present at the event.
After the win, Lama thanked the organizers, saying the honor was special to her. She also thanked director Shah.
