Fullcourt meeting continues at Supreme Court after chief justice-judge message leak; judges skip bench

Supreme Court judges have been engaged in internal discussions after a WhatsApp exchange between Chief Justice Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma and Justice Hari Phuyal became public. The full-court meeting (fullcourt), attended by all judges, began on Monday morning and is still ongoing.

The meeting, attended by all Supreme Court judges, has been running for more than four hours. Although Monday's cause list was published, judges have not gone to the bench and have instead continued discussions in the fullcourt.

Monday's bench proceedings at the Supreme Court have been affected due to the fullcourt meeting. Cases listed on the cause list have not been heard.

According to the Supreme Court administration, the fullcourt meeting is likely to continue further. The court has not yet made public any conclusion from the meeting.
