ICC Men's World Cup qualifier playoff to be held in Kathmandu December 4-21

The ICC Men's ODI Cricket World Cup Qualifier Playoff will be held in Nepal. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) issued a statement on Thursday announcing that the tournament will be organized in Kathmandu from December 4 to 21.

CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said the playoff, part of the qualification process for the 2027 ODI World Cup, will be held in Kathmandu. The top four teams in the tournament will advance to the next stage of World Cup qualification.

Because of the playoff, the previously scheduled calendar for the Nepal-India 'A' cricket series in December will change. CAN said the new schedule for that series will be made public later.
