Kathmandu — Keeping in mind major festivals including Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, 3,506 police personnel have been deployed across Kathmandu Valley.

The deployment has been made to control any criminal activity that could occur during the festival period. Plainclothes police as well as trained dogs have been mobilized for security.
