Naagdhunga tunnel collects Rs 1.17 million in toll on its first day

The Naagdhunga tunnel road collected about Rs 1.17 million in road toll on the first day the fee was implemented.

The road toll on the tunnel came into effect from midnight on Sunday. On the first day, around 7,500 vehicles used the tunnel and paid the fee.

The tunnel road has a target of collecting Rs 400 million in toll fees over the course of a year.
