Former king Gyanendra Shah to skip giving tika to the public this year over Rasuwa flood

Former king Gyanendra Shah will not give tika and jamara to the public on this year's Vijaya Dashami.

He made the decision due to the irreparable loss of life and property caused by flooding in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi on Bhadau 10.

Vijaya Dashami, the main day of Bada Dashain, is being celebrated today. However, former king Shah has said he will not hold the programme to give tika and jamara to the public this year.
