Dr Govinda KC's health condition risky, referred to Biratnagar for further treatment

Ilam Hospital has said that the health condition of Professor Dr Govinda KC has reached a risky stage. His health has been growing serious four days after he began his fast.

At a press conference held at the hospital's hall on Sunday, the hospital's medical superintendent, Amitabh Thakur, said Dr KC's health condition was at a risky stage. The hospital said his condition could put his life at risk.

As his health condition grew serious, District Hospital Ilam has recommended to the Ministry of Health of Koshi Province, in Biratnagar, that the necessary arrangements be made to provide him further treatment.

Dr KC is undergoing treatment at Ilam Hospital. The hospital has said it is monitoring his health condition.
