Gold price rises Rs 500 per tola to Rs 290,200

The prices of both gold and silver rose in the Nepali market on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 500 per tola.

Following the increase, hallmark gold will now be traded at Rs 290,200 per tola. The price had previously stood at Rs 289,700 per tola.

The federation said the price of silver also rose along with gold on Monday. The federation fixes the price of gold and silver every trading day, and buying and selling in the market takes place at that rate.

Since gold and silver prices keep fluctuating, customers planning to buy or sell gold are advised to check the day's price before making a transaction.
