Sheep and goats worth 350 million rupees exported via Mustang this Dashain

Sheep and goats worth 350 million rupees have been exported via Mustang on the occasion of this year's Dashain.

The Office of Agriculture and Livestock Development released the figures. According to the office, thousands of sheep and goats have been exported via Mustang this year.

Since demand for meat rises during Dashain, trade in sheep and goats increases around this time every year. The office said this year's trade through the Mustang border point reached 350 million rupees.

The price of goat meat in the valley has also risen during Dashain.
