Floods, landslides affect over 300 households in Parbat's Jaljala rural municipality

More than 300 households in Jaljala rural municipality of Parbat have been affected by the latest monsoon disaster.

Jaljala is a rural municipality in Parbat district, located next to Beni Bazaar, the district headquarters of Myagdi. Floods and landslides triggered by rain from Asoj 8 to 11 affected more than 300 households in the rural municipality.

Even several days after the rain stopped, the number of households affected by the disaster has crossed 300. The area adjoining Beni Bazaar appears to have been hit hardest by the rainfall between Asoj 8 and 11.

The affected households are still dealing with the impact of the disaster even during the Dashain festival period.
