NPL third edition: all opening-match tickets sold out within half an hour

All tickets for the opening match of the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) sold out within half an hour of sales opening. The NPL will run from October 26 to November 21.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) opened online ticket booking at 8 pm last night. Within 30 minutes of booking opening, that is by 8:30 pm, all tickets for the opening day had been sold out.

Ticket sales for the tournament's other matches have also formally opened. After tickets for the first match sold out in such a short time, high interest in the NPL has been evident among spectators.

For the third edition, teams are moving ahead with preparations to bring in foreign players. Only a few days now remain before the tournament begins.
