TU ground ready for NPL's third edition, Omoda sponsorship continues

The Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur has been readied for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The tournament, featuring eight teams, is set to begin on Kartik 9.
Upgrades to the ground, pitch and outfield management, and construction of spectator infrastructure have reached their final stages.
New bucket seats have been installed in the parapet area, and construction of a welcome gate is also underway.
With floodlights in place, matches can be held at night as needed.
This time, a digital ticketing system and seat-number allocation have been arranged for spectators.
Attention has also been given to security checks, CCTV monitoring and parking management.
Meanwhile, SPG Automobiles, the official distributor of the Omoda Jaecoo brand, has continued its partnership with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
The company, which has been a 'Driven By' partner since the first edition, is this time associated as the 'Powered By' sponsor.
The company has been giving a car to the best-performing player in the tournament as the 'Electrifying Player of the Tournament.'
According to SPG Automobiles, this partnership further strengthens the brand's commitment to Nepali cricket.
The company said it would also support efforts to grow sports culture in the country.
