Internet and telephone services disrupted across Bajura after optical fiber cable cut

Internet and telephone services have been disrupted across Bajura since Thursday morning after an optical fiber cable was cut.

According to Ishwor Singh, chief of the Nepal Telecom office in Bajura, services were disrupted after the cable was cut at Nunepani on the Saanfe-Martadi road section on Thursday.

The daylong disruption has affected communication services as well as the work of various offices, online service delivery and other communication-related activities in the district.

If you have relatives in Bajura, you may find it difficult to reach them by phone or internet until services are restored.
