Elder brother Harisharan urges Ravi Lamichhane to clarify stance on provinces

Harisharan Lamichhane, elder brother of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chairman Ravi Lamichhane, has given him a five-point suggestion. He emphasized the need to form a clear stance on provinces, in line with the party's manifesto.
Harisharan said he had a brief discussion with his younger brother during a non-political meeting over Dashain, after which he made the suggestions public on social media. He urged the party to find a sustainable solution to the situation brought about by climate change.
He also proposed building pod-ways across the country suited to its terrain, and converting the old Hetauda-Kathmandu ropeway into a modern pod-way. He argued that such a project would help reduce traffic load on roads and protect the environment.
The suggestions also covered a plan for groundwater recharge and improving Kathmandu's water flow. He suggested giving free facilities, in a fixed proportion, to poor and low-income citizens, and also put forward the idea of a smart metering system that could increase household income from solar energy.
