Court orders ANFA chair Nemwang, general secretary Rai released on Rs 500,000 bail each

The Lalitpur District Court has ordered the release of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) chair Pankaj Bikram Nembang and general secretary Kiran Rai on bail. The single bench of District Judge Harisingh Dhami ordered both released on bail of Rs 500,000 each.

ANFA chair Nembang and general secretary Rai, who had been absconding on fraud charges, appeared before the court. The Government Attorney's Office had sought a total of Rs 9,309,000 in damages and compensation from the defendants.

Following the court's order, both officials will post the bail amount and proceed with the hearing of the case.
