Fire at furnace oil tank at Banke's Ambe Steel Industry causes damage of about Rs 15.6 million

Nepalgunj — A fire broke out in a furnace oil tank inside Ambe Steel Sariya Company at Baksapur in Janaki Rural Municipality-5, Banke. The fire caused damage worth about Rs 15.6 million.

The fire in the tank is said to have been caused by a short circuit in the line. Furnace oil is oil used in iron-processing engines.

The fire damaged the tank in which oil was stored inside the industry. The estimated damage stands at about Rs 15.6 million.
