Four Indian nationals arrested for burglarizing Kathmandu homes during Dashain

Police have arrested four Indian nationals accused of committing burglary by taking advantage of homes being empty during Dashain. They are accused of stealing cash and gold and silver ornaments from two houses in Kathmandu.
Police arrested them along with the stolen gold and silver ornaments and cash. A large quantity of gold and silver was recovered from them.
Among those arrested are 25-year-old Bikas Podar and 19-year-old Raju Podar, both from Bihar, India. Two other Indian nationals were also arrested along with them.
Police say that since many people leave their homes to go to their villages during Dashain, the burglars targeted empty houses.
