Opposition parties unite, demand parliament session be summoned

Opposition parties have demanded that the Federal Parliament session be summoned immediately.
The decision came from a meeting of opposition parties, which said a resolution to recent sensitive developments should be sought from within parliament itself.
After the meeting, Nepali Congress parliamentary party leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe said there was agreement to convene a parliament session as soon as possible and seek solutions to many issues from there.
He said opposition leaders are also preparing to meet the Speaker on the same matter.
Earlier on Sunday, Congress President Gagan Thapa had made a special address on recent developments.
