New rule on teacher transfers: transfer possible only after one year of service

A new amendment to the Education Regulation has changed the transfer process for teachers at community schools. The "Education (Eleventh Amendment) Regulation, 2083" has altered provisions in the principal regulation relating to transfers.
Under the new provision, teachers will be eligible for transfer only after completing one year of service. The previous three-year limit for transfers has been removed.
The amended regulation has also changed the provision on mutual transfers. The process for such transfers, carried out with the mutual consent of two teachers, will now also proceed under the new rule.
The amendment will apply to teachers working at community schools across the country. This change to the transfer process replaces the earlier arrangement governing teacher transfers.
