Parliamentary hearings for 13 proposed ambassadors completed, approval decision pending

Parliamentary hearings for ambassadors proposed to 13 different countries have been completed. With the hearing of four nominees each on Wednesday, the Parliamentary Hearing Committee finished hearings for all the proposed ambassadors.

Although the hearing process is complete, the Parliamentary Hearing Committee still has to decide whether or not to approve their appointments.

The Council of Ministers meeting held on Asoj 2 had recommended ambassadors for 13 countries.

During the hearings, questions were raised about the ethical conduct of the ambassadors proposed for Saudi Arabia, Japan and Malaysia, and the committee's decision on them is being watched with interest.
